Gary Neville makes shock new Manchester United claim after Lisandro Martinez outburst

Neville claims Manchester United had a dressing-room confrontation over Martinez's public criticism of transfer strategy after the Atletico Madrid loss.

Gary Neville believes Manchester United experienced a significant dressing-room bust-up following Lisandro Martinez's post-match comments criticizing director of football Jason Wilcox's transfer activity. Martinez spoke to the press after the midweek Champions League defeat to Atletico Madrid, with reports suggesting some teammates shared his frustration over the club's investment in the squad. Neville told Sky Sports he is "100 per cent" certain the issue was addressed internally, though the team's subsequent 1-1 draw at Leeds suggests tensions may still be affecting performance.
