Manchester United defender returns to training as Michael Carrick makes Lisandro Martinez decision

Mazraoui returns to training and could feature against Leeds this weekend; De Ligt unlikely to start despite Martinez's availability questions.

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick confirmed that defender Noussair Mazraoui has returned to training and is set to be available for selection in Sunday's clash against Leeds at Elland Road. Mazraoui missed the recent draws against Tottenham and Atletico Madrid after sustaining an injury on international duty for Morocco. Carrick also addressed Matthijs de Ligt's potential role, suggesting the Dutch defender will be eased back in gradually after nearly a year away from action, despite Lisandro Martinez's recent public criticism of the club's board.
