A significant loss

Athletic striker Guruzeta suffered an injury during Saturday's match at Mestalla and medical tests have confirmed the diagnosis.

Athletic Bilbao striker Guruzeta was forced off the pitch at Mestalla on Saturday shortly after coming on as a substitute for Iñaki Williams. Medical tests conducted the following day confirmed the injury fears. The 30-year-old forward, who has established himself as one of Athletic's key attacking players after progressing through their academy system, now faces a recovery period. Manager Terzic will be without a crucial piece of his attacking setup during Guruzeta's absence.
