Preston North End were bang average – now they're abysmal

Preston sit bottom of the Championship with just four points from 11 games, conceding 24 goals and scoring only nine.

Preston North End have collapsed to the foot of the Championship table after 11 matches, accumulating just four points. The club's defensive record is catastrophic—they have conceded 24 goals and are on course for over 100 by season's end. Their attack is equally blunt, with only nine goals scored across 11 games due to poor shot accuracy and conversion rates. Manager Paul Heckingbottom was sacked after seven league games despite being retained through a poor run last season, leaving the club in disarray as they face four of the division's current top seven in their next five fixtures.
