Courtois removed from Belgium squad WhatsApp group after deciding not to play for the national team under Tedesco.
Thibaut Courtois has been removed from Belgium's player WhatsApp group following his decision to step back from international football during Domenico Tedesco's tenure as manager. The Real Madrid goalkeeper announced after the World Cup he would not participate in the Nations League unless injuries forced his recall. Courtois expressed support for new manager Van Bommel and the team's direction, saying he has no issue if other goalkeepers like Lammens, Vandevoordt or Penders are preferred.
