Hellberg committed to Boro's front-foot style

Middlesbrough manager Kim Hellberg defends the club's attacking approach despite defensive vulnerabilities, insisting the offensive style is key to their promotion push.

Middlesbrough manager Kim Hellberg has doubled down on the club's attacking philosophy ahead of Friday's trip to Bolton Wanderers. Third in the Championship table after 11 games, Boro have scored 22 goals—only West Ham have more—but have managed just two clean sheets. Hellberg told BBC Radio Tees the team will not abandon their front-foot approach, arguing it has transformed them into the league's best at controlling games. Over their last six matches, Boro have had nearly twice as many shots as opponents and scored 14 goals, though they've conceded 11.
