Aquilani jokes about January transfers in Roman dialect ahead of Como clash

Sassuolo manager Aquilani joked about January transfers in a Roman dialect quip ahead of Saturday's Serie A clash at Como.

Sassuolo manager Alberto Aquilani held his pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday's Serie A fixture at Como, scheduled for 15:00 at the Sinigaglia stadium. When asked about potential defensive reinforcements in January, Aquilani responded with humour, quoting a Roman saying: "Blessed is he who has an eye in January." He acknowledged missing injured players like Leysen and Idzes but expressed confidence in his squad's commitment and focus. Sassuolo are coming off a 4-2 defeat to Frosinone and Aquilani stressed the need for improved concentration and attitude.
