Ansotegi: "Results and standings matter, I won't say they don't"

Ansotegi acknowledges Real Sociedad's difficult league position ahead of Las Palmas clash but insists the team is prepared for any tactical approach.

Real Sociedad II manager Jon Ansotegi held a pre-match press conference ahead of the team's fixture against Las Palmas, acknowledging the delicate situation in the league standings while maintaining a long-term perspective. Ansotegi warned that Las Palmas, managed by new coach Juan Manuel Rodríguez following Rubén de la Barrera's departure, is a strong opponent with experienced first-division players. He emphasized that his team is tactically prepared for any setup the opposition might deploy and stressed the importance of maintaining their footballing identity to return to winning ways, while not dismissing the significance of results and league position.
