From frustration to weapon: Ajax scores from corners

Ajax has scored seven Eredivisie goals from corners this season, more than double any rival, reversing last year's set-piece struggles under new coach Míchel Sánchez.

Ajax has emerged as the Eredivisie's most prolific team from corners under manager Míchel Sánchez, a dramatic turnaround from last season when set pieces were a source of frustration.

Following the match against FC Groningen, Ajax now leads the league with seven corner goals—at least two more than any other club. That total nearly matches their entire tally of eleven set-piece goals from the whole of last season. Including Conference League qualifying rounds, Ajax has added four more corner goals in European competition.

The shift represents a notable tactical improvement, with the club's video analysis examining how the corners are being converted.
