Sancet is in the final phase of his recovery from a moderate soleus muscle injury sustained 15 days ago. Athletic Bilbao manager Terzic confirmed the midfielder will not be available for tomorrow's match against Getafe, but recovery is progressing well. Terzic stated: "He is in the final stretch of his recovery. We expect him to start training more with the team on Monday or Tuesday and be ready for next week."

Sancet was spotted doing individual work outside Lezama yesterday as part of his rehabilitation programme. Terzic also provided updates on other recovering players: Vivian is progressing well and could feature against Getafe with Laporte suspended, while Prados continues his comeback after a lengthy absence from a serious knee injury.
