Bayern Munich's Serge Gnabry nets 100th Bundesliga goal against Freiburg

Gnabry reached 100 Bundesliga goals as Bayern beat Freiburg 3-1 on Matchday 7.

Bayern Munich defeated Freiburg 3-1 on Matchday 7, with Serge Gnabry marking a milestone by scoring his 100th Bundesliga goal. The 31-year-old latched onto Nathaniel Brown's return pass in the first half and coolly finished past Freiburg keeper Mio Backhaus to extend Bayern's lead.

Gnabry reached the century mark on his first league start of the 2026/27 season. "My 100th Bundesliga goal is a nice story," he said. "I hadn't expected that, but it's great that it helped the team." The winger made his Bundesliga debut at Werder Bremen in 2016/17, scoring 11 goals in 27 appearances before moving to Hoffenheim, where he added 10 more in 22 games. Since joining Bayern Munich, he has scored 79 Bundesliga goals across 267 total appearances in the division.

Bayern will next face Borussia Dortmund in Der Klassiker on Matchday 8.
