Barça-Real: "I feel cheated", After Foot questions Barcelona's true level

Barcelona's perfect start unravels with defeats to PSG and Real Madrid, raising questions about their true level despite 51 goals this season.

Barcelona's unbeaten run came to an abrupt end this week with back-to-back defeats to Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, prompting serious questions about the team's credentials. The Spanish side had won their first ten matches of the season and looked unstoppable, but their performance in these two major fixtures fell well short of expectations.

After Foot analysts expressed disappointment with Barcelona's display, particularly their failure to impose their characteristic style. Journalist Edgar Groleau said he felt "cheated" by the contrast between the team's earlier brilliance and their recent showings. The concern centres on young winger Lamine Yamal, who failed to make an impact in either match—marked tightly by Lucas Hernández in the Champions League and by Marc Cucurella in the Clasico—raising questions about his ability to perform under individual defensive pressure.

Despite the setback, Barcelona remain top of La Liga and are in the Champions League's top eight. The season is still young and the Catalans have time to recover their form.
