Borja Iglesias is missed

Celta captain Iago Aspas says the team misses striker Borja Iglesias, a World Cup winner, who has played only 90 minutes this season and won't return until after the next international break.

Celta drew 0-0 with Real Betis in La Liga, extending their struggles in front of goal with just ten goals in ten matches. Captain Iago Aspas reflected on the team's lack of firepower, notably missing striker Borja Iglesias, described as a World Cup winner and the club's best forward.

Iglesias has featured for only 90 minutes so far this season and remains unavailable until after the upcoming international break. Despite the attacking limitations, Aspas praised the team's defensive solidity, which has improved significantly compared to recent seasons. He acknowledged Betis as a Champions League-level side and called the draw fair and deserved.

Looking ahead, Aspas expressed hope for a strong week, targeting progression in the Copa del Rey and a competitive performance at Rayo Vallecano in Madrid, a venue where Celta has struggled to win in recent years.
