Douvikas renews with Como until 2031

Greek striker Douvikas has signed a new contract with Como through 2031, extending his deal after arriving from Celta in February 2025.

Anastasios Douvikas has renewed his contract with Como until 2031, the Italian club announced on Monday. The Greek striker joined Como in February 2025 after spending a season and a half at Celta, where he made 58 appearances and scored 18 goals.

Since arriving at Como, Douvikas has established himself as the club's starting centre-forward, appearing in 68 matches across all competitions and scoring 27 goals with five assists. This season he has been particularly prolific, scoring in Como's first three Champions League group stage matches—the club's debut European campaign—and netting five league goals so far, including a brace against Sassuolo.

Manager Cesc Fàbregas praised Douvikas's mentality and work ethic. "Tasos has shown great mentality from his first day at Como and that has been reflected on the pitch," Fàbregas said. "He is always positive, very ambitious and has a great work culture. We are delighted to announce his renewal."
