Roma, Lulli signs: contract renewal until 2031 official

The 17-year-old winger has signed a five-year extension through June 2031, tying him to Roma after breaking into the first team this season.

Emanuele Lulli has signed a new five-year contract with Roma, extending his deal until 30 June 2031. The 2007-born winger, who came through Roma's academy at Palestrina and Trigoria, has impressed in his breakthrough season under manager Gasperini, making his Serie A debut as a starter against Fiorentina on 24 August and scoring his first goal in a 2-0 win over Genoa on 17 October. He has also received his first call-up to the Italy Under-21 squad.

Lulli's immediate future had been uncertain; he was close to joining Avellino on loan before Gasperini intervened, telling him he would stay at Roma. The club prioritised extending his contract, which was set to expire in June 2027, before committing him long-term. The renewal reflects Roma's confidence in one of the season's standout academy graduates.
