Andoni Iraola issues double Liverpool injury update and explains big advantage vs Arsenal

Iraola says Szoboszlai and Munoz have a chance to feature against Arsenal on Sunday despite missing the last three games with injuries from Brentford.

Liverpool head coach Andoni Iraola has offered an injury update ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Arsenal at Anfield. Both Dominik Szoboszlai and Victor Munoz have been absent since the win at Brentford earlier this month, with Szoboszlai aggravating a hamstring injury and Munoz suffering a knee knock. However, Iraola is not ruling either out, saying "I think they have a chance" with two days remaining before the match.

Jeremie Frimpong is definitely unavailable and won't return until after the November international break, while Giovanni Leoni, Conor Bradley and Hugo Ekitike remain sidelined long-term. Liverpool will be looking to extend their unbeaten run against Arsenal to five games and move within three points of the Premier League leaders with a sixth successive victory in all competitions. Iraola highlighted the Anfield crowd as a major advantage, praising the atmosphere and the supporters' backing regardless of results.
