Real Madrid are in their best moment of the season, as shown in the Clásico

Racing manager José Alberto López says Real Madrid are in their best form of the season ahead of Sunday's La Liga clash at El Sardinero.

Racing de Santander manager José Alberto López held his pre-match press conference ahead of Sunday's La Liga fixture against Real Madrid at El Sardinero. López described the encounter as one the club had been "seeking to play for a long time" after fifteen years facing less prominent opponents.

The Racing boss praised Real Madrid as "one of the best clubs in the world" with "extraordinary players" and highlighted manager José Mourinho's impressive track record. "They are in the best moment of the season, as they demonstrated in the Clásico," López said.

López outlined Racing's approach: to maintain their style of play without fear, knowing they have nothing to lose. He emphasized the importance of their home support at El Sardinero, where Racing have earned all their La Liga points this season, calling the atmosphere "a pressure cooker for the rival" that will help them compete against the Madrid side.
