From Endrick to Allegri accusations: D'Amico responds before Udinese-Roma

Roma director D'Amico says the club is focused on the pitch ahead of Udinese, dismissing speculation about January signings like Endrick while Dybala recovers from injury.

Roma sporting director Tony D'Amico addressed several topics in the pre-match buildup to Sunday's Serie A fixture at Udinese. Responding to recent comments from Allegri, D'Amico emphasised Roma's focus on their own performance: "We are used to working hard. The final result of every season is what you deserve on the pitch."

On the January transfer window, D'Amico downplayed speculation linking Roma with Real Madrid's Endrick, saying it was too early to discuss specific targets with so many matches coming up. He also praised the development of the squad and highlighted Mario Hermoso's importance, suggesting his contract renewal would be addressed "at the right moment."

D'Amico confirmed Paulo Dybala needs extra recovery time and will be assessed mid-week, ruling him out of the Udinese match. He acknowledged the challenge Udinese presents despite their league position, noting their physical approach and defensive shape.
