Isco reaches 400 La Liga appearances

Isco reached 400 La Liga appearances in Betis's match against Málaga, becoming the fifth active player to hit the milestone.

Isco celebrated his 400th La Liga appearance in Betis's fixture against Málaga, the club where he broke through to the top flight after earlier debuting with Valencia. The midfielder became the fifth active player to reach that landmark. Ahead of him are Koke (Atlético Madrid, 527), Iago Aspas (Celta, 428), Iñaki Williams (Athletic Bilbao, 417) and Jan Oblak (Atlético Madrid, 410).

Isko's 400 matches place him 87th in the all-time rankings, level with Luis Enrique. His La Liga career spans five clubs: 246 games with Real Madrid, 69 with Betis, 69 with Málaga, 12 with Sevilla and four with Valencia. Across those appearances he has scored 71 goals, provided 53 assists and accumulated 52 yellow cards and four red cards.
