Jude Bellingham eclipses Zinedine Zidane Real Madrid feat in 73 fewer games

Bellingham scored in Real Madrid's 3-0 away win, reaching 50 goals in 154 games — surpassing Zidane's tally in 73 fewer matches.

Real Madrid secured a dominant 3-0 away victory, with Jude Bellingham scoring in the 22nd minute alongside goals from Kylian Mbappe and Yan Diomande in the first half. The win leaves Real Madrid third in La Liga, three points behind Barcelona.

Bellingham's goal marked a historic milestone in his Los Blancos career. The England midfielder has now scored 50 goals in 154 matches since joining from Borussia Dortmund in 2023, becoming the 50th player in Real Madrid's history to reach that tally. Remarkably, he is the only player to score 50 goals since his debut season in 2023/24, and his latest effort was already his fourth in 11 La Liga appearances under Jose Mourinho this season.

Bellingham has overtaken Zinedine Zidane's goal tally for the club in 73 fewer matches. Zidane scored 49 goals in 227 appearances between 2001 and 2006. The 23-year-old has won multiple trophies in his time at Real Madrid, including La Liga, the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Intercontinental Cup and Spanish Super Cup. Real Madrid face Valencia on Saturday before a Champions League clash with AEK Athens in midweek.
