Cagliari, Nzola rediscovered: hunt for three in a row against Alvini

Nzola has scored in consecutive matches and will lead Cagliari's attack against in-form Frosinone on Saturday as the Sardinians seek a third straight win.

Cagliari's Nzola has rediscovered his form after a difficult previous season, scoring in back-to-back matches against Roma and Lazio. The Angolan striker, deployed as a starter for the second consecutive game, has shown renewed confidence and a keen eye for goal, providing manager Pisacane with tactical flexibility in attack.

Nzola's resurgence allows Pisacane to rotate his forwards more effectively, taking pressure off young striker Mendy while providing experienced support. The 30-year-old has demonstrated he can both score crucial goals for Cagliari's survival push and mentor his younger teammate.

Cagliari face a stern test on Saturday when in-form Frosinone visit the Domus. The visitors demolished Torino 2-0 and are among the season's surprise packages. Pisacane will rely on his experienced players, with Nzola tasked with confirming his recent form against one of Serie A's most dangerous sides.
