Rams must give fans something to believe in again

Derby County face a critical moment after losing 4-1 at Millwall; fans demand a response at home against Norwich and Bolton.

After Derby County's 4-1 defeat at Millwall on Saturday, supporter sentiment has shifted from disappointment to resignation. The Rams conceded three goals in the opening 17 minutes, effectively deciding the match before it began. While manager John Eustace is dealing with a significant injury crisis, particularly in defence, supporters are calling for visible signs of fight and belief regardless of the squad's limitations.

With only one league victory in their first 13 matches, Derby's home fans have continued to show up in numbers. The upcoming fixtures against Norwich and Bolton at Pride Park represent crucial opportunities to restore confidence and demonstrate what representing the club means. If the team shows the same lack of character and effort seen at The Den, the atmosphere could turn toxic. However, there remains belief that with quality in the squad and time to recover from injuries, the season can still be turned around.
