Memphis praises Seedorf: 'He is a crucial piece for Corinthians'

Memphis Depay praised new former Corinthians manager Clarence Seedorf, saying the Dutch legend is a crucial piece to lift the club to a higher level.

Memphis Depay expressed his enthusiasm for Clarence Seedorf's arrival as Corinthians manager, calling the Dutch football legend a crucial piece for the club's future. Speaking at a press conference in Brazil, Depay said he has great respect for Seedorf both as a player and coach, and is eager to learn from his experience.

The pair have already spent time together, exchanging stories about their careers and discussing football and life beyond the pitch. Depay noted that Seedorf's career has been far more expansive than his own, and praised the manager's intelligence and ability to engage everyone around him.

Seedorf's appointment has brought fresh energy to Corinthians, which faces the threat of relegation. Depay observed changes in the attitude of those around him over the past two weeks and highlighted Seedorf's clear vision in everything he does, including a different approach to his recovery from injury. The striker, recently back from injury, said he will do his best to contribute during this period.
