Wilson returns as Wales call up uncapped Duncan

Wilson returns after injury absence since March; uncapped Bristol City goalkeeper Duncan earns first senior call for Nations League fixtures against Norway and Portugal.

Harry Wilson has been recalled to Wales' squad for their UEFA Nations League matches against Norway (14 November, Oslo) and Portugal (19 November, Cardiff) after missing international action since March due to injury. The Leeds United midfielder is one of Wales' most influential players and his return bolsters Craig Bellamy's squad.

Joe Rodon, Wilson's Leeds team-mate, also returns despite not playing since August when he suffered a hamstring injury. Cardiff City playmaker Rubin Colwill is recalled to the squad. However, Wolves midfielder Jordan James is unavailable after sustaining an injury in last Saturday's match against Cardiff City.

The only new call-up is 20-year-old goalkeeper Joe Duncan, who is on loan at National League side Southend United from Championship club Bristol City. Born in Bristol but qualifying for Wales through his maternal grandfather from Cardiff, Duncan replaces Everton back-up Tom King in the senior set-up and has previously represented Wales Under-21s. Wales are third in Group A4 and need a top-two finish to reach the Nations League quarter-finals in March 2027.
