Good to feel club are committed to me - Jaissle

Jaissle says Newcastle's board have reassured him of their commitment despite the club's poor form and speculation about his job security.

Newcastle manager Matthias Jaissle addressed questions about his position after a difficult run of results, including Monday's 1-0 home defeat by Everton that left the Magpies 13th in the Premier League with just two wins in seven matches.

When asked about pressure on his job, the 38-year-old said he tries to ignore outside noise but has received reassurance from within the club. "The nice part is that I got more of a feeling from within the club about how committed they are and that is something really important in a week where there is speculation or rumours," Jaissle said.

Ahead of Saturday's trip to Fulham, Jaissle expressed confidence in his squad's unity and understanding of his tactical ideas, saying the players are "fully committed" despite the recent poor performances.
