Athletic backs referees after derby; Real Sociedad disputes Aramburu penalty on Williams.
Athletic Bilbao issued a statement expressing support for referees and calling for maximum respect toward the officiating profession. Real Sociedad, meanwhile, maintained that the penalty awarded against Aramburu for a challenge on Nico Williams should not have been given, and claimed there were errors beyond the referee's decision.
At Lezama, Galarreta returned to training after recovering from a muscle injury that kept him out of the derby.
