Six big surprises in England's squad for the Nations League

Tuchel names first-time call-ups Jobe Bellingham and Josh King for Nations League matches against Croatia and Spain.

Thomas Tuchel has announced an England squad for the upcoming Nations League fixtures against Croatia (12 November at Wembley) and Spain (15 November in Riyadh) that includes several surprises. Fulham's Josh King and Jobe Bellingham, the younger brother of Real Madrid's Jude, earn their first senior call-ups. Brighton goalkeeper Jason Steele takes the third goalkeeper spot ahead of Crystal Palace's Dean Henderson. Cole Palmer, widely expected to return, misses out alongside Phil Foden in attacking positions, while Ben White makes a surprise return in defence. England can top the group with at least one win if Spain drop points against Czech Republic and Croatia.
