Valencia to honour deceased Tenerife player Jesús de Miguel with half-mast flag at Mestalla

Valencia will lower the Tenerife flag to half-mast at Mestalla during Saturday's Real Madrid match to honour deceased Tenerife player Jesús de Miguel.

Valencia will pay tribute to Jesús de Miguel, a Tenerife player who recently died, by lowering the CD Tenerife flag to half-mast at Mestalla from Saturday's match against Real Madrid (21:00) through the end of the matchday. Players from both teams will wear commemorative shirts and carry flowers, with a minute's silence before kick-off. In the ninth minute—matching de Miguel's shirt number—play will pause for a further tribute. LaLiga has coordinated similar remembrance actions across all fixtures that day. Valencia expressed its condolences to de Miguel's family, friends, teammates and CD Tenerife.
