Double dose of Bellingham against Spain

England manager Tuchel names squad for November friendlies vs Croatia and Spain, including Jobe Bellingham's first senior call-up alongside brother Jude, but excludes Cole Palmer.

Thomas Tuchel has announced England's squad for November internationals against Croatia at Wembley and Spain at the Metropolitano, with two notable storylines dominating the selection.

Jobe Bellingham, the Borussia Dortmund midfielder and younger brother of Real Madrid's Jude, receives his first senior call-up to the Three Lions. The 19-year-old has been a regular for England's youth categories and now joins his brother in the squad for the two high-profile fixtures.

The most controversial omission is Cole Palmer. The Chelsea forward, who has scored five goals and three assists for England, was left out after missing recent camps through injury. Tuchel had previously criticized Palmer in a press conference, saying: "He has wasted too many opportunities. He has missed too many concentrations through injuries and I only want to base myself on what I see with my own eyes." The manager's warning has now become reality.

Elsewhere, the squad features Ballon d'Or winner Harry Kane, who will captain England and celebrate his award at Wembley. Real Madrid's Trent Alexander-Arnold returns for a second consecutive international window, while Arsenal's Declan Rice and Ben White are back after injury. Notably absent are Marcus Rashford and Bukayo Saka, both sidelined since October with fitness issues.
