De Bruyne-Lucca row: fake brother account exposed, agent clarifies

De Bruyne's agent denies false social media claims attributed to a fake account impersonating Lucca's brother after their on-pitch clash.

A social media row erupted after Kevin De Bruyne and Lorenzo Lucca clashed during Napoli's 4-1 defeat to Porto. Following the match, inflammatory posts attacking De Bruyne were attributed to an account claiming to be Lucca's brother. Lucca's agent Giuseppe Riso has categorically denied the claims, stating the account is not connected to the player's family. Napoli had already clarified that Lucca's only brother is named Riccardo, contradicting the fake account's identity. Riso criticized the spread of unverified information, saying outlets published false statements without checking sources and damaged the reputations of those involved.
