Fabregas: surprise possible against Inter with perfect performance

Como manager Fabregas believes an upset is possible at Inter despite acknowledging the gap between the sides, citing improved offensive efficiency as key.

Cesc Fabregas held his pre-match press conference ahead of Como's Serie A trip to Inter on matchday 11. The Como manager said the result against Lens should not affect their approach, noting they have come close to taking points from Inter on several occasions in recent years but been undone by fine margins. "When they raise their level, they are too strong," Fabregas said. "But if we play a perfect match, a surprise is not ruled out. There is still a big difference between us and them."

Fabregas also praised the impact of three Como players called up to international duty: Liberali, Cassano, and Ricci for Italy, and Ramón for Spain. He highlighted Papaccioli's development after returning from injury, describing him as dynamic with a strong mentality, and encouraged young players to seize their opportunities when given them.
