Eric Garcia and Christensen travel to Madrid

Eric Garcia and Andreas Christensen have travelled with Barcelona to Madrid after recovering from muscle injuries; both are available for Sunday's match at Atlético.

Barcelona have travelled to Madrid with defenders Eric Garcia and Andreas Christensen available for Sunday's La Liga match at Atlético Madrid (21:00 CET). Both players have recovered from muscle injuries sustained earlier in the season. Garcia suffered a right thigh injury that sidelined him for four matches against PSG, Real Madrid, Alavés and Aston Villa, returning within the expected three-to-four-week recovery window. Christensen sustained a left quadriceps injury on 19 September and has followed an individualised training programme before being cleared to compete. While Christensen is expected to start on the bench, Garcia may feature in the starting XI on the right flank. Barcelona have also called up two players from their B team, Àlex Campos and Ebrima Tunkara, with Jules Koundé still awaiting medical clearance.
