Brennan keen to learn from seasoned counterparts

Barnet manager Brennan, five years into his tenure, credits experienced League Two peers like Cotterill and Cook for his development.

Barnet boss Dean Brennan has marked five years in charge of the Bees by reflecting on his approach to management education. Speaking on the BBC's 72+ podcast alongside Bristol Rovers manager Steve Evans, Brennan highlighted the value of learning from vastly experienced counterparts in League Two, naming Steve Cotterill at Cheltenham and Paul Cook at Chesterfield as key influences. He described post-match conversations with fellow managers as an "unbelievable education" and said he regularly invites opposing bosses in after games to pick their brains. Barnet currently lead League Two after seven unbeaten games this season.
