Abde Ezzalzouli to Newcastle makes perfect sense as eye-catching new stats emerge

Newcastle are reportedly eyeing Real Betis winger Ezzalzouli as a January target to address their wide-player shortage.

Newcastle have identified Real Betis winger Abde Ezzalzouli as a potential January signing to bolster their attacking options on the flanks. The 24-year-old Moroccan was a reported target in the summer before a knee injury derailed a move, but has since returned to form for Betis, recording 15 goals and 10 assists in 43 appearances last season. With Harvey Barnes impressing in Anthony Gordon's absence but other wide options struggling under manager Matthias Jaissle, Ezzalzouli fits the profile of player Newcastle are seeking in the winter window.
