Everton 'set sights' on Aaron Ramsdale deal as long-term Jordan Pickford plan revealed

Everton considering Southampton goalkeeper Ramsdale as long-term successor to Pickford, who has attracted Bayern Munich interest.

Everton are exploring a move for Southampton goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, 28, as part of contingency planning around Jordan Pickford's future. Ramsdale has fallen down the pecking order at Southampton and is expected to become available in January. While Pickford has been linked with Bayern Munich and other big-money moves, Everton see value in adding goalkeeping depth regardless of whether the 32-year-old stays or leaves. Ramsdale has multiple Premier League suitors and is widely expected to depart Southampton in the winter window.
