Memphis on the brink as Corinthians suffer seventh straight defeat
Summarised by MatchPal
Corinthians suffered their seventh straight defeat to Internacional and sit just one point above the relegation zone, with Memphis missing a glaring chance.
Corinthians fell to a seventh consecutive defeat against Internacional in the Brasileirão, losing 2-1 at Beira Rio. The club conceded within 30 seconds through Vitinho, then Alan Patrick doubled the lead before André Luiz pulled one back. Memphis squandered a clear opportunity in the box that would have levelled the match. With 32 points, Corinthians are now dangerously close to the relegation zone, just one point clear, and face Palmeiras next Sunday.
