Skubala hopes to have Dickie back before Christmas

Dickie's knee injury is less severe than initially feared and he should return before Christmas, Skubala confirmed.

Bristol City manager Michael Skubala provided an encouraging update on centre-back Rob Dickie's knee injury sustained against Lincoln City last month. The injury is not season-ending and Skubala expects Dickie to return to action before Christmas, possibly even sooner. Fellow defender Luke McNally is also available for selection after recovering from a serious knee injury suffered in February 2025, though his involvement will be managed carefully.
