Sancho, Getafe's final signing target

Getafe exploring move for free agent Sancho, but his €4m salary poses major obstacle for the Madrid club's wage structure.

Getafe has expressed interest in signing Jadon Sancho, the 26-year-old English winger available as a free agent, according to DAZN journalist Pablo Pinto. Manager José Bordalás is keen on Sancho's ability to play across both flanks and his one-on-one dribbling skills. However, Getafe faces a significant hurdle: Sancho's salary of around €4 million annually is beyond the club's financial capacity. The club is exploring ways to create wage-cap space, including potentially registering a long-term medical absence for injured player Juanmi, though this alone would not guarantee they could afford the English winger's wages.
