Stoke still feeling confident, says defender Wilmot

Wilmot insists Stoke remain confident after their first defeat in two months to Middlesbrough, with three winnable fixtures ahead.

Stoke City defender Ben Wilmot has expressed confidence in the team's ability to bounce back after suffering their first defeat in nearly two months, a late loss to Middlesbrough at home on Tuesday. Despite the setback ending a run of 16 points from 18, Wilmot believes the performance was strong enough to have earned at least a draw. He highlighted that the team took time to get into the game but improved in the second half, with small moments proving costly. Stoke face three consecutive matches against lower-placed sides: away at Derby County on Saturday, followed by home games against Bristol City and Preston North End.
