Players will be lucky if they retain spot - Jackson

Jackson says players must earn their places after Wimbledon's 5-0 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday, the club's heaviest league loss in over a year.

AFC, former Wimbledon manager Johnnie Jackson has responded to Saturday's 5-0 League One loss at Sheffield Wednesday by warning his squad that selection for Tuesday's match against Mansfield Town is a privilege, not a right. Jackson told BBC Radio London that no player deserved to retain their spot after the performance at Hillsborough, describing it as the Dons' heaviest league defeat since losing 5-0 at Peterborough last November. He expressed confidence the team would react positively, as they have after previous heavy defeats, and highlighted two upcoming home games—against Mansfield and then Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday—as opportunities to correct course.
