'Privilege' to lead Mansfield challenge - Smith

Smith has scored five goals this season and netted twice in Mansfield's 3-0 away win at AFC Wimbledon, with the Stags now 11th in League One.

Mansfield Town striker Michael Smith scored twice in Tuesday's 3-0 victory at AFC Wimbledon, extending his tally to five goals this season. The 35-year-old, who joined on a free transfer from Preston in the summer, says he is enjoying his role as the club targets improvement on last season's 10th-place finish. Mansfield sit 11th with 15 points from 10 matches, one point better than this time last year, and face Blackpool on Saturday.
