Chelsea have offered €60m for midfielder and Blues or Liverpool could go higher
Summarised by MatchPal
Chelsea offered €60m last summer; Liverpool now join the race with both clubs potentially bidding higher in the coming window.
Manu Kone was close to joining Chelsea last summer when the Blues tabled a €60m offer, but former Roma manager Gian Piero Gasperini vetoed the deal. The French midfielder has been a key player for Roma this season despite a recent injury, helping them qualify for the Champions League. Liverpool have now entered the race for his signature, and both English clubs are expected to make strong offers at the end of the season, potentially exceeding the €60m Chelsea bid.
