Chelsea: Alex Scott transfer prediction emerges after Bournemouth U-turn on January deal
Summarised by MatchPal
Chelsea remain interested in Bournemouth's Alex Scott; the midfielder is currently injured with contract talks at deadlock, and Bournemouth would sell for around £100m in January if facing relegation.
Alex Scott, Bournemouth's 23-year-old England midfielder, has attracted interest from all six Premier League 'big six' clubs this summer. He is currently sidelined through injury and has rejected new contract offers from Bournemouth. The south-coast club have indicated they would be willing to sell Scott for approximately £100m in the January transfer window if they face relegation. Chelsea remain among the interested parties, though former midfielder Gus Poyet suggests the fit depends on Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso's squad-building philosophy.
