Tottenham injury update: James Maddison, Destiny Udogie and Savio latest news and return dates

Maddison suffered a suspected groin injury in the Chelsea win; Udogie (knee), Adarabioyo (calf) and Bergvall (knee) also sidelined, while Savio faces several weeks out with a muscular problem.

Tottenham's injury troubles deepened after their victory over Chelsea, with James Maddison forced off with a suspected groin injury early in the second half. The midfielder, playing his second game in six days, pulled up off the ball and was unable to continue, replaced by Conor Gallagher. He will be assessed ahead of next week's match against Crystal Palace.

The club's treatment room remains crowded. Destiny Udogie has not trained since picking up a knee injury against Manchester United and remains unavailable. Tosin Adarabioyo suffered a suspected calf injury during his impressive league debut and was absent from the Chelsea squad, with a potential return date of October 31. Lucas Bergvall is expected to miss two weeks after a knee problem at Old Trafford.

Summer signing Savio faces several weeks sidelined after a muscular issue before the squad travelled to Marbella, with no confirmed return date. Loan signing Mykhailo Mudryk, sidelined with a long-term ankle injury, could potentially return in early November based on an initial six to eight-week timeframe, though updates on his recovery have been limited.
