Milan-Bologna, Maignan: "We must stay calm and not add fuel to the fire"

Milan captain Maignan called for calm after the 4-2 loss to Bologna, urging the squad to stay composed ahead of Saturday's derby against Inter.

Milan captain Mike Maignan addressed the media following his side's 4-2 defeat to Bologna, emphasizing the importance of maintaining composure during a difficult period. "We must stay calm, every match is important, we must avoid adding fuel to the fire," Maignan said. "We shouldn't draw conclusions after two months; assessments are made at the end of the season."

With the high-profile derby against Inter coming up on Saturday at 20:45 on Sky Sport, Maignan's message was one of perspective and resilience. The captain stressed that despite the heavy loss, the team must remain focused and avoid overreacting to early-season setbacks.
