Leny Yoro: Jorge Mendes can engineer Manchester United exit

AC Milan target Manchester United defender Yoro for summer 2025, with agent Mendes expected to facilitate a €40-50m deal.

AC Milan have identified Manchester United centre-back Leny Yoro as a priority defensive target for summer 2025. The 20-year-old, signed by United from Lille for €62m in 2024, has made 74 appearances for the club, including 53 under current Milan manager Ruben Amorim. Yoro has featured in eight matches this season under Michael Carrick, playing 515 minutes across centre-back and right-back.

Milan are planning a defensive overhaul after injuries to Matteo Gabbia and Mario Gila. While they may pursue winter targets like Bayern Munich's Kim Min-jae or Sporting's Gonçalo Inácio, Yoro is their identified summer priority. The Serie A club hopes to complete the transfer for €40-50m, with Yoro valued at €45m on Transfermarkt and contracted to United until 2029.

Agent Jorge Mendes, who represents Yoro, is expected to play a key role in engineering the move. Amorim's familiarity with the defender from their time together at Manchester United may prove instrumental in facilitating the transfer.
