Alvini cites Camus and compares Kvernadze to Kvaratskhelia: "Different for this reason"

Frosinone manager Alvini praised Kvernadze's physicality after the 5-1 win over Lecce, comparing him favourably to Napoli's Kvaratskhelia.

Frosinone manager Massimiliano Alvini spoke to DAZN after his side's commanding 5-1 victory over Lecce at the Stirpe. Reflecting on the performance, Alvini quoted Albert Camus on the joy of football, emphasizing that managers must entertain supporters while pursuing results.

Alvini highlighted the importance of having the right players for different tactical situations, singling out Kvernadze and Ghedjemis for their attitude and work rate. When asked to compare Kvernadze to Napoli's Kvaratskhelia, Alvini explained the differences: "Kvara is a bit more technical, more of a dribbler. Kvernadze has more physical strength, more ground to cover with his legs. Kvara is a bit more of a fantasist. They are two different players. Giorgi drives me crazy, even in training, for his availability."

On Frosinone's title ambitions, Alvini acknowledged the importance of the league table, stating that 17 points would not be enough for survival. He emphasized the clear objective: to accumulate the necessary points in the best way possible with the characteristics available to the team.
