Leeds United willing to pay €20m for Sevilla player – Whites prepared to make decisive move

Leeds United are prepared to activate Miguel Sierra's €20m release clause, though the Sevilla winger is currently sidelined with a surgery-requiring injury.

Leeds United are showing serious interest in Sevilla winger Miguel Sierra and are willing to pay his €20m release clause to bring him to the Premier League. The 22-year-old Spaniard has impressed this season with two goals and an assist in eight matches before suffering an injury in October's 3-3 draw against Levante UD that required surgery.

Manager Daniel Farke's side have closely monitored Sierra throughout the campaign and are prepared to make a decisive move. Sierra signed a new contract with Sevilla until 2029 in April that includes the €20m release clause; his market value has jumped from €300k in June to €7m as of now, reflecting his rapid development.

However, Leeds are likely to wait until Sierra regains full fitness before proceeding, given the uncertainty around his recovery timeline. The move would also benefit Sevilla financially, as the club faces a difficult financial situation.
