Juventus players unhappy with Spalletti's coaching approach: 'Too much talking'

Players unhappy with Spalletti's training methods, citing excessive talking and insufficient drill time affecting intensity.

A section of Juventus's squad has expressed dissatisfaction with manager Luciano Spalletti's approach, according to Italian media reports. Players believe Spalletti talks too much during training sessions, leaving insufficient time for practical work and reducing the intensity on the pitch. Some footballers also feel they are not being trained adequately, with concerns raised about players' physical condition.

The discontent stems from a difficult start to the season. Juventus has collected just 14 points from nine league matches, including a 2-0 defeat to Genoa in their last three games. The club's leadership has already addressed the players about their responsibilities. Spalletti, appointed exactly one year ago with a contract through mid-2028, has scheduled a two-day training camp ahead of the upcoming match against Napoli.

His position is coming under increasing pressure, though Juventus has not yet held talks with potential replacements. Stefano Pioli, Paulo Sousa and Antonio Conte are being mentioned as possible candidates.
