Chivu on new stadium: "It's hard to resist for so many years"

Chivu discussed Inter's potential move to the new Generali Stadium, saying he supports innovation despite his attachment to the Giuseppe Meazza.

Inter manager Cristian Chivu addressed the club's stadium plans ahead of the Milan derby, expressing support for the new Generali Stadium while acknowledging the emotional connection many fans have to the Giuseppe Meazza. Chivu said he expects to manage Inter at the new ground, noting that while change can be unsettling, it brings important economic benefits and must be embraced. He also reflected on the pressures of management, joking about whether he would still be in charge by 2031/2032 when the stadium opens, saying the constant scrutiny and judgement make it difficult to sustain a long tenure without significant stress.
